Andreja Gracin, the Executive Director of Human Resources at Telemach Croatia, has been named HR Manager of the Year 2026, a prestigious professional recognition awarded for exceptional contributions to the development of people, organizations, and the HR profession. The award was presented to her at the Weekend Media Festival in Rovinj, as part of HR.Weekend.
This year’s selection gathered 25 candidates, and Andreja Gracin particularly stood out for her work in five areas of HR leadership. According to the award organizer, her contribution to the integration of three organizations, building a shared culture, and increasing employee engagement marked this year’s selection.
– I perceive this recognition primarily as an acknowledgment of the entire team and all our employees. HR is not the job of one person because behind every change, every new process, and every step are people who trust each other and build the organization together. I am especially pleased that our work has been recognized precisely at a time when we continue to build a shared culture and an organization where people can realize their full potential – stated Andreja Gracin, Executive Director of Human Resources at Telemach Croatia.
The recognition comes after a series of successes for Telemach in the field of people management and organizational culture development. In July 2026, the company became the first major company in Croatia to achieve the highest MAMFORCE LEAD standard, and the same year it also won a bronze Stevie® award for HR excellence in employer branding. The company currently employs over 1,000 people and has implemented a series of initiatives over the past two years focused on talent development, employee engagement, well-being, internal communication, and leadership development.
