Croatia is among the first Mediterranean destinations included in the new partnership Awazea, one of the leading European companies in holiday accommodation management and owner of the Novasol brand, aimed at integrating a larger number of bookings. In the initial phase of cooperation, British guests will be offered a thousand selected villas and holiday homes in Croatia through Jet2Villas, through which an increase in arrivals and strengthening of Croatia’s brand as a destination in Great Britain is expected. For Croatian property owners, the cooperation primarily means access to a significantly wider base of potential guests from the United Kingdom.
Jet2 operates from 14 British airports, and connecting its distribution network with Novasol’s portfolio opens additional opportunities for placing quality private accommodation to guests who may not have traditionally chosen holiday homes. The British market for Croatia is not only interesting because of the number of guests. The United Kingdom is already among the more important emitting markets for Croatian tourism, and British guests achieved around 4.1 million overnight stays, during 2025, according to data from the Croatian Tourist Board from the eVisitor system, which includes commercial and non-commercial accommodation as well as nautical charters.
– The great value of this partnership for Croatia lies in the fact that we are opening an even stronger access for our renters to a market that has great potential, especially for higher quality holiday homes and villas with pools. We see significant room for further growth of Croatian premium private accommodation in the British market. The British guest fits well with the structure of Croatia’s premium offer, and through Jet2Villas, we will have the opportunity to present such properties to a significantly wider audience. For the property owner, this ultimately means greater visibility, an additional source of demand, and the possibility of achieving new bookings – emphasized Josip Stulić from Novasol.
