As part of the further modernization of its distribution network, Ledo has acquired 47 new delivery vehicles worth five million euros. This investment has renewed nearly 30 percent of the fleet, thereby further increasing the reliability and operational flexibility of the system, which achieves more than 2,500 deliveries daily during the peak season in Croatia.

Ledo’s own distribution network currently supplies approximately 16,000 sales points in nearly 2,800 cities, towns, and settlements across Croatia. The scale of distribution activities is also reflected in the fact that Ledo’s fleet exceeded 3.4 million kilometers in 2025 alone.

The new fleet consists of vehicles tailored to the specific requirements of frozen product distribution. They are equipped with modern cooling systems that ensure the necessary temperature conditions throughout the entire distribution process, while GPS tracking, remote temperature monitoring of chambers, and route optimization systems further support the efficiency and reliability of daily distribution. All vehicles were delivered in July and are already included in regular operational business.

– Efficient and reliable distribution is crucial for us to ensure the quality that our customers and partners expect from Ledo. By investing in the modernization of delivery vehicles, we further strengthen the flexibility and efficiency of our logistics network and create the prerequisites for continued quality supply to thousands of sales points across Croatia, as well as for future growth and adaptation to changing market needs – stated Dražen Šimek, Logistics Director at Ledo plus.

At a time when many companies are opting to outsource logistics activities to external partners, Ledo continues to invest in its own distribution network. This allows it to maintain direct control over product quality and the cold chain, from the warehouse to the sales point.

The company’s own logistics system also provides greater flexibility and a quicker response to the needs of customers and business partners.

The modernization of the fleet also brings additional improvements in safety and sustainability. The new vehicles are equipped with more efficient engines and advanced active and passive safety systems, contributing to greater energy efficiency due to lower CO2 emissions.

– For us, investing in the distribution network means much more than investing in the vehicles themselves. It is an investment in the quality of our products, service excellence, and the safety of our employees, who ensure daily that products reach customers in appropriate conditions and at the right time – added Šimek.
