Wonderful, an Israeli startup with an office in Zagreb, has closed a new Series C funding round amounting to 550 million dollars, with a company valuation of five billion dollars. With this valuation, Wonderful has become a pentacorn.

The funding round was led by Insight Partners, with participation from Salesforce and existing investors Index Ventures, IVP, Vine Ventures, 9Yards, and Bessemer Venture Partners.

Since the Series B round in March of this year, Wonderful has expanded its operations to over 35 markets, increased its team to 650 employees worldwide, and developed its solution into an AI operating system. Clients today use Wonderful AI OS to automate entire workflows, build and implement AI-native applications, as well as coordinate agents across all parts of their organization.

– We are entering a new era of business transformation. Just as cloud platforms have become the foundation of modern enterprises, AI operating systems will become the foundation of every company. Organizations need a shared AI foundation whose value grows in proportion to how much the business relies on it, and that is exactly what we are building, said CEO and co-founder of Wonderful Bar Winkler.

Wonderful AI OS represents a shared operational layer that coordinates AI agents, workflows, AI-native applications, business context, integrations, and execution under full control, across the entire organization. The system is open, model-agnostic, and compatible with existing technological infrastructure, allowing companies to adopt new models and capabilities as the industry advances, without being dependent on a single vendor, they stated in a press release.

– Our region has often been last in line for new business technologies. This time it is not so. Companies in the Adriatic, Hungary, and the Baltic states are bringing AI into production within weeks, not quarters. This funding round enables us to bring this to every major company, from Zagreb to Vilnius, added Vedran Bajer, General Director for the Adriatic, Hungary, and the Baltic at Wonderful.

As we have already reported in Lider, this Israeli startup was founded in early 2025. In the spring of this year, it raised 150 million dollars in a new Series B funding round, while in November of last year, it secured a Series A investment worth 100 million dollars, with Wonderful being valued at 700 million dollars market value, and as part of that expansion into Southeast Europe, an office was opened in Zagreb.
