KPMG Adria Cluster has announced a change at the helm of the company: Goran Horvat, the former managing partner of KPMG Adria Cluster, which also includes the position of CEO of KPMG Croatia, ‘is pursuing a career in new professional challenges outside of KPMG’, and his position is taken over by the former board member Domagoj Hrkać.
This personnel change occurs at a time when KPMG Croatia, with last year’s revenue of 17.3 million euros, remains the largest individual member of the global audit and consulting ‘Big Four’ in Croatia, but also the one that is growing the slowest. In the last five years, up to 2025, KPMG’s revenues have increased by only 12.3 percent, while during the same period Deloitte, the second largest, grew by 30 percent (to 13.3 million euros), PwC by over 38 percent (to 12 million), and EY surged by as much as 63 percent (to 10.6 million). The ranking among them has not changed, but the gaps are getting smaller.
KPMG’s market position in Croatia is further shaken when comparing the business results of all companies in Croatia operating under one of the Big Four brands. In such a constellation, KPMG Croatia and KPMG Consulting, according to last year’s total revenue of 18.5 million euros, are at the bottom of the ‘Big Four’, while the leading group of companies with the prefix PwC in their name has a total of 28.5 million euros in operational revenue.
