AikGroup has today signed share purchase agreements aimed at acquiring 613,567 shares of Podravska Banka, which is close to 91.75 percent of its equity capital. Namely, Lider learned in mid-April from two independent sources about the efforts of Belgrade’s Aik Bank, backed by Aleksandar Kostić, to acquire Podravska Banka, and this has now been confirmed.
– This is the second consecutive year of geographical expansion for AikGroup, which represents an exceptional milestone in achieving our group’s strategy. Our goal is to establish a significant presence throughout Southeast Europe, and we continue to pursue this ambition through the acquisition of Podravska Banka. This will be AikGroup’s fourth market in which it operates, and the second in the European Union.
