After Srebrenka Saks, the long-time director of DHL International (DHL Express Croatia), recently retired, Denis Novak has been appointed as the new director of the company. He comes to this key position at DHL in Croatia with extensive international experience and a clear ambition: to further strengthen DHL’s leadership position in the Croatian market through innovative logistics solutions and impeccable service quality.
Extensive International Experience
Denis Novak’s career within DHL spans 18 years, starting in 2008 in Slovenia. His professional journey is characterized by a rapid rise based on results, from sales manager to commercial director of DHL Express Slovenia. During this period, he was one of the key figures in achieving revenue growth and transforming the commercial sector, setting high standards in the industry.
He further honed his experience at the regional level. Since 2020, based in Prague, he has served as the regional director of sales and business development for DHL Express Central Europe. Under his leadership, the region has consistently achieved double-digit growth, particularly excelling in successfully managing the SME segment and implementing the strategic DDI project (Road Express), which significantly improved the efficiency of road transport in this part of Europe.
