The company Wonderful, specialized in the implementation of AI agents in large business systems, has raised $150 million in a new Series B funding round, which has increased the company’s market value to as much as $2 billion, just over a year after its founding.

As previously reported in Lider, this Israeli startup was founded in early 2025 by Bar Winkler (CEO) and Roey Lalazar (CTO). Just four months ago, they secured a Series A investment worth $100 million, at which point Wonderful was valued at $700 million, and as part of that expansion into Southeast Europe, an office was opened in Zagreb.

Three months earlier, Wonderful secured an initial investment of $34 million. That investment round was led by Index Ventures and Bessemer Venture Partners, global funds that had previously supported Revolut, Slack, and Notion.

The new Series B investment round was led by Insight Partners, with participation from funds that had previously supported Wonderful, including Index Ventures, IVP, Bessemer Venture Partners, and Vine Ventures. The capital raised is intended for global expansion and a significant increase in the number of employees, as the company plans to grow from the current 350 to approximately 900 employees by the end of 2026.

Significance of the Croatian Team

Let us recall that Wonderful’s operations in the Adria region, which includes Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Albania, are led by Vedran Bajer, former director of Microsoft Croatia, who took over as regional director at Wonderful in September 2025.

Given that Wonderful is engaged in the development of AI agents for customer experience, focusing on markets outside the English-speaking area, they have expanded into Southeast Europe, and the decision to establish a hub was made in Zagreb. The team in Croatia primarily focuses on the development, sales, and implementation of AI solutions for companies in industries such as telecommunications, finance, insurance, tourism, and healthcare.

Regarding the new investment, Bajer emphasized that this is a significant step for Wonderful, but also for our region.

– Companies are tired of AI promises; they want results immediately. Technology alone is not enough; for real success, you need people on the ground who understand the business. Our teams in the region dictate the pace of this revolution, and the fact that such global solutions are being implemented here simultaneously with the largest global markets is proof of our strategic importance, Bajer stated.

Double Unicorn

In just eight months since emerging from the ‘stealth’ phase, or the period of secret development without public announcements, Wonderful has expanded to over 30 countries across Europe, the Middle East, the Asia-Pacific region, and Latin America.

According to company data, the implementation of their AI solutions in the internal processes of other companies and communication with customers has resulted in 60% faster task processing and an automation rate above 80%.

To date, Wonderful has raised a total of $286 million in fresh capital and has already confirmed its status as a unicorn, and a double one at that.
