The founder of Fero-Terma Šime Gudeljević has passed away at the age of 76. This was announced today by Fero-Term on their Facebook page.
– With deep sorrow, we bid farewell to Šime Gudeljević, the founder of Fero-Terma. In 1991, he founded Fero-Term, with a vision that shaped our path and laid the foundations of what we are today. His dedication, courage, and vision will remain a lasting inspiration to all of us, and the kindness and humanity that we will always remember have left a deep mark among all who knew him. His legacy lives on in every part of Fero-Terma. In faith and gratitude, we cherish his memory. May he rest in God’s peace – stated in Fero-Term’s post on that social network.
Fero-Term is a market leader in the retail trade of iron goods, construction materials, paints, and glass in Croatia, and is the largest in the former Yugoslavia. As we reported last year when we were working on the company profile of Fero-Terma, the industry in which it operates has been experiencing growth in recent years, and in 2023, the total value of goods sold by the twelve leading companies in Croatia amounted to 358.8 million euros, an increase of 26 million euros or 7.8 percent compared to the previous year, of which Fero-Term alone collected 18 million euros.
