The 88 percent increase in trading volume (to 866 million euros) achieved last year in securities trading on the Zagreb Stock Exchange, along with a simultaneous 65 percent increase (to 835 million euros) compared to the previous year on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange, positively influenced the financial results of the Zagreb Stock Exchange Group. The Group thus ended the last year with just over five million euros in business revenue, which is more than one million euros higher than in 2024, while its net profit increased by as much as 182 percent, to 558 thousand euros.

The stock trading on the Regulated Market of the Zagreb Stock Exchange last year was primarily driven by three IPOs (ING-GRAD, Žito, and Tokić), complemented by new share issuances from five other companies already listed on the Exchange (Institut IGH, Helios Faros, Professio Energia, Čakovečki mlinovi, and Villa Dubrovnik). One new share, issued by the company IE-Energy project, was also listed on the Progress market last year. Thus, the number of share issuers (78) remained unchanged as Saponia, Atlantska plovidba, Primo Real Estate, and 3. maj shipyard simultaneously delisted their shares. Despite this, the market capitalization of the stock market increased by 11 percent, to over 32 billion euros. With only 17 listed shares on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange, the market capitalization of shares reached 17.6 billion euros last year, representing a growth of 48 percent.

The growth in bond trading is primarily attributed to the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Croatia, which listed three bonds and seven treasury bills on the ZSE last year, while an equal number of older bonds and bills were simultaneously withdrawn from the Exchange. New bonds were also offered to investors on the Regulated Market last year by Atlantic Grupa, Bosqar, HOK-osiguranje, and Span. The older bonds of the first three mentioned companies were also delisted from the Exchange. Last year, three tranches of bonds from the company enasolAUTO and the fourth tranche of Glucodent bonds were listed on the Progress market.
