Auto Hrvatska Officially Opens BYD Center in Split

Auto Hrvatska, a company with over 70 years of experience in the automotive industry and one of the leading companies for passenger and commercial vehicles in Croatia, officially opened a new BYD center in Split on Friday, November 7, at Domovinskog rata 65.

The collaboration between BYD and Auto Hrvatska began in April of this year, and in September of this year, a BYD sales and service center was opened in Zagreb at Heinzelova 70. The expansion in the Split-Dalmatia County and the opening of the new BYD center in Split marks the full presence of this innovative brand at a new location and a commitment to providing customers with a top-notch experience. The opening of the BYD center in Split represents a new step forward in which Auto Hrvatska has contributed to the development of electric mobility in Croatia, emphasizing innovation, quality, and sustainability as the foundation for future business.

At the opening, alongside representatives from BYD, numerous distinguished guests and media representatives were present. The CEO of Auto Hrvatska, Mr. Alen Vuksan-Ćusa, presented the Auto Hrvatska Business Group and emphasized the core values of Auto Hrvatska – tradition, reliability, quality, and long-term value, while reflecting on the beginning of the collaboration with BYD and highlighting the synergy in the partnership with BYD.

Ms. Marija Zagorec, the brand manager for BYD, presented the rich offering of the BYD center in Split and emphasized that BYD is not only synonymous with excellence in electric mobility but also introduced excellent plug-in hybrid models with ranges exceeding 1080 km with a full tank of fuel and battery. She highlighted that the SUV segment Seal U DM-i, the sedan Seal 5, and the Seal 6, which is soon to enter the market, will surely occupy a significant place in the Croatian market.

Mr. David Kušanić, BYD Deputy Country Manager for Croatia and Slovenia, thanked the Auto Hrvatska team and highlighted the speed of the development of the collaboration, expressing confidence in a successful partnership that will provide users with the quality and experience they deserve. A traditional gong strike symbolically marked the beginning of the operation of the BYD center.
