Auro Domus, the largest Croatian company for trading in precious metals and gold buying services, is entering a new phase of business expansion. The company currently has around sixty branches across Croatia, and according to the founder and director Loris Dessardo, the opening of new locations in cities where they are not yet present is being considered. In parallel with domestic growth, the company is also undertaking an ambitious international breakthrough.

The company has recently established a presence in Ljubljana through a flagship branch under the Goldman Graff brand, which, Dessardo emphasizes, has opened up opportunities for expansion into other Slovenian cities. However, the key international breakthrough is taking place in the Bulgarian market, where a branch was opened in Plovdiv in the middle of the year.

– We are currently looking for a location in Sofia. Additionally, we are in the final stages of an agreement with partners to introduce Auro Domus services in about a hundred of their branches across Bulgaria, which would provide the company with the largest international distribution network to date – said Dessardo.

Plans do not stop at the region. Dessardo confirms that discussions are already underway with Bulgarian partners about joint expansion into other European markets, including Romania, Poland, and Spain. This transforms Auro Domus from a local player into a serious regional and European player in the precious metals trading segment.

– In parallel with the expansion of the sales network, we are also working on introducing new services, in which we will connect physical gold and digital platforms, thus providing both accessibility and ease of use, as well as the security and trust that clients do not have in exclusively ‘digital gold’ and ‘paper derivatives’. Our goal is for saving in gold to become as simple and accessible as opening a bank account – announced Dessardo.
