Kompare, the leading domestic platform for comparing and contracting insurance, telecommunications services, and loans, continues a series of successful acquisitions and further expansion in Croatia and the region, with the latest acquisition completed today. Specifically, kompare.hr has acquired Optimum Group – a licensed credit and insurance intermediary with many years of experience in mediating the contracting of products and services for companies and citizens.

The business model of Optimum Group is based on collaboration with investors in new construction, resulting in special conditions for buyers of those apartments and spaces. This year, they will place loans worth more than 30 million euros, primarily consisting of housing loans, which continue to see the highest demand among citizens.

– We are already the fastest-growing credit intermediary, and this acquisition will further accelerate our growth and expand the portfolio of our service users. With the integration of Optimum Group, the credit mediation team at kompare.hr now counts more than 30 people and lays a stable foundation for further growth in this business segment. Credit mediation is still not sufficiently recognized in Croatia, and our goal is to show users that there is a simpler process for contracting loans – without additional fees for our service – said Bojan Radlović, CEO of kompare.hr.

With this acquisition, the Optimum Group brand ceases to exist and fully integrates with the kompare.hr platform, but the business model of collaboration with investors in construction, as well as special conditions for buyers, remains in focus. Optimum Group and kompare.hr have been collaborating for several years, which represented a significant advantage during the acquisition as the integration process was greatly facilitated.

– The merger of kompare.hr and Optimum Group was a logical step precisely because of the combination of experience and technology that creates a new quality in the market. While Optimum Group brings two decades of experience from the very beginnings of credit mediation in Croatia, kompare.hr is a company that brings its recognizability, a wide range of services and partners, as well as technological innovations. I expect that clients will receive even better service precisely due to the acceleration of processes and more efficient and modern business operations – said Marko Perić, founder and owner of Optimum Group.

Recognized as a leading representative for insurance, telecommunications, and loans, kompare.hr already collaborates with all relevant partners in the domestic market, and the new acquisition will further expand the focus and strategic direction of the company’s business.

– Corporate culture is extremely important to us when it comes to new acquisitions. We have excellent cooperation with Optimum Group, so the entire process went without any challenges. Additionally, we are opening our first branch in Split focused on credit operations in November this year, thus becoming physically present in Dalmatia. The market potential exists, and targeted and strategic acquisitions enable us to achieve that – added Bojan Radlović, CEO of kompare.hr.

In fact, kompare.hr is a company that employs more than 300 people and mediates in over 150,000 contracts annually. Their business model allows the end user to obtain a unique overview of all services available in the insurance, telecommunications, and loan markets at one place. Consequently, users can quickly and easily find the optimal offer according to their needs without charging a brokerage fee.

As a reminder, the company has previously communicated that in the next year they plan to enter one or two more markets, as reported by Lider. Additionally, the new director of the company, Bojan Radlović, announced that in 2026, they plan to expand the team and introduce new technological solutions and better user experience. However, the owners of kompare.hr, the investment company Invera Equity Partners, have also recently announced their exit from the company by April next year.
