Despite the geopolitical and economic challenges that the world has been facing for some time, especially since the beginning of the year and the introduction of ‘Trump’s tariffs’, which significantly affect the automotive industry, Peugeot is recording good results, announcing new models and new technological solutions. We spoke with Dragutin Gotal, the director of the Peugeot brand, about business operations and plans for the end of this year and next year.
Peugeot is recording good results in 2025. What are the plans for the end of the year?
– This year, we have recorded stable sales and good sales results. First of all, the results were achieved in the light commercial vehicle program. After the first eight months, we hold a high second place and record a 60% increase compared to last year. By the end of the year, we plan to present the New 308, a model that is extremely important in the B2B sales channel, which will elevate business customer satisfaction to an even higher level with its new design, engine offerings, and the latest technological solutions.
Electric incentives for legal entities are underway. With which models and offers does Peugeot plan to compete? How do you see the future of the automotive industry regarding electrification in a local sense? Are customer habits and awareness changing?
– Peugeot has one of the widest ranges of electric models offered by individual manufacturers. On the occasion of providing incentives, we have prepared very attractive offers for all legal entities. I would like to highlight the small city E-208, which is available with incentives starting from 19,990 euros, and I would particularly emphasize the electric light commercial vehicles for which we have also prepared special conditions.
