Krunoslav Kišak and Alen Krajačić are no longer co-owners and directors of DELT PAPIR, with DECUP Valentina Adlešiča remaining the sole owner, who is now the sole director of the company. Over the past year, he managed together with Kišak and Krajačić, who temporarily retained 12.5 percent of the shares each.
This concludes the process in which Adlešič ‒ the son of former politician and mayor of Bjelovar Đurđe Adlešič ‒ took over a competing company. The interesting aspect of this transaction was that a smaller company acquired a larger one. DELT PAPIR achieved 37.5 million euros in revenue last year and had 80 employees, while Adlešič’s parent CUP UP had 29.5 million euros in revenue and 72 employees.
In any case, the new group is becoming a serious competitor to the market leader in household paper products, VIOLETI Petra Ćorluke.
Mladen Ljubas has been serving as the director of DSV HRVATSKA since August 7, replacing Robert Gortnar and Tihomir Škrtić.
This is a consequence of the acquisition of the German SCHENKER (known as DB SCHENKER, as it was owned by the state railway company DEUTSCHE BAHN) by the Danish DSV. SCHENKER was sold for approximately 14.3 billion euros. The new company has around 160,000 employees in over 90 countries. DSV, now with an annual revenue of about 41.6 billion euros, becomes the largest freight forwarder in the world, ahead of DHL and Kuehne+Nagel.
Ljubas has spent his entire career, since 1991, at SCHENKER. Since 2006, he has led the Road Transport Department for the Southeast Europe region, and for the last two years, he has managed the company’s operations in the Adriatic region. Even after taking the top position at DSV, he remains at the helm of Croatian SCHENKER. These two companies in Croatia had combined revenues exceeding 36 million euros last year.
Among other changes, we highlight:
