Končar – Metal Structures has signed a purchase agreement with Dalekovod for the complete stake in the company Dalekovod MK, but the domestic group did not wish to disclose the value of this transaction.
As highlighted in the announcement, upon the completion of the transaction and restructuring within the Končar Group, synergistic effects of connecting companies are achieved in order to create conditions for sustainable and successful business continuation through the adaptation and expansion of the production program of Končar – Metal Structures.
On Tuesday, another company from the Končar group, Končar – Digital, signed an agreement to purchase business shares in the company Neos. As reported by Končar, the agreement was concluded following the previous acceptance of the binding offer from Končar – Digital d.o.o. by the members of the company, which the investment public was informed about at the beginning of May. As previously announced, due to the indirect connection of the contracting parties, the transaction envisaged by the agreement is considered a transaction with a related party.
– With this acquisition, the Končar Group will expand its competencies and resources in the domain of business applications in the electricity sector and gain domain expertise for analytical systems and the development of application systems in the cloud. The agreement defines the conditions and legal actions that the contracting parties are obliged to fulfill for the completion of the transaction and the acquisition of ownership shares by Končar – Digital d.o.o. This includes, among other things, obtaining the necessary concentration approvals in accordance with applicable legislation – Končar emphasizes.
Končar also states that it will continue to inform the investment public about significant facts related to the implementation or conclusion of the transaction.
