Ankica Kruljac has been appointed as a member of the Management Board of the Rijeka company ADRIATIC CROATIA INTERNATIONAL CLUB. The government adopted a conclusion at the end of July proposing to the Supervisory Board the appointment of Kruljac as a member of the Management Board, until the appointment of a Management Board member through a public competition, for a period of no longer than six months.

The Management Board of ACI consists of the CEO Kristijan Pavić and Ivan Herak, who serves as a member of the Management Board for finance, corporate law, and human resources. The Croatian marina chain is majority-owned by the state, which holds nearly 80 percent of the ownership stake.

Ankica Kruljac was the CEO of the Rijeka NOVI LIST from 2016 until April 2024. She led the publishing house through a pre-bankruptcy settlement. Her term ended when Bojan Divjak was appointed to head the company, who, along with Oleg Uskoković, holds the majority ownership.

Changes Following Acquisition

Miroslav Záhorec has been appointed as the chairman of the Supervisory Board of OMIAL NOVI, replacing Lukasa Kothbauera, David Bečvář has been appointed as the vice-chairman, replacing Rajka Strenje, and Daniel Trnka and Jana Zimová are new members of the Supervisory Board, replacing Johannesa Gerardusa Kleindouwela and Antonija Stojanova. Eva Dostálová has been appointed as a member of the Management Board of the company.

These changes are a result of the change in ownership of the Omisalj company. Recall that earlier this year, Omial Novi was acquired by the Czech company MTX GROUP from the Swiss ALUFLEXPACK GROUP. This acquisition strengthens the position of MTX Group in the European packaging industry, particularly in the market for sterilizing packaging for food and animal feed, and emphasizes the growing international influence of the group.
