– Our goal is not just to fill a position. We want to gather people who share our ambition, transforming link building from a technical checklist into a creative discipline that brings real, measurable value to clients – says Matej Majstorović, founder and CEO of the Direcut agency, on the occasion of launching the recruitment for the position of Content Operations Manager.
Why now?
Croatia has exploded in recent years as a hub for digital services. The export of marketing and IT solutions is growing at double-digit rates, while foreign companies from the iGaming, SaaS, fashion, and dating sectors are increasingly seeking partners who understand their niche needs in the context of SEO performance marketing. Direcut is responding to this opportunity by expanding its team, but not at any cost.
– We are looking for colleagues who think long-term. Experts aware of market dynamics, but also of their own potential – explains Majstorović.
From Coordination to Entrepreneurship in Three Steps
The new position is not classic project management. The Content Operations Specialist becomes the main figure between incoming orders and finished content.
– Imagine a conductor in front of an orchestra of digital creators: without a clear tempo and precise instructions, chaos ensues. That is exactly the kind of person we are looking for – says Majstorović.
Direcut also offers a clearly defined path for career growth. First, operational processes are mastered, then the leadership of verticals is taken on, and finally, with mentoring support, there is the option to start one’s own digital agency within the group. “We want to create an ecosystem where talents do not leave, but build companies right here,” adds the CEO.
A Culture of Responsibility, Not Micromanagement
What does Direcut look like from the inside?
– There are three key pillars: proactivity, curiosity, and meritocracy – explains Majstorović. In practice, this means that initiative and solution-oriented thinking are praised.
The agency operates in a hybrid model, with the office in Samobor serving for strategic sprints, while the rest of the time is reserved for focused remote work. When the team feels autonomy, responsibility naturally increases. This is a mutual benefit where decisions are made faster, and our team gains space for development.
