Rimac Grupa, Ina and Pliva are the most desirable employers in the manufacturing industry in Croatia, according to the research conducted by the Employer of Choice on the MojPosao portal.

The research on employers of choice was conducted by Alma Career Croatia through the MojPosao portal, with a sample of over 34,000 respondents during 2024. This research has been conducted annually for the 20th consecutive year.

Atlantic Group secured the fourth place on the list of the ten most desirable employers in the manufacturing industry, while Coca-Cola HBC Croatia took the fifth place, Jadran-Galenski Laboratorij the sixth, Končar the seventh, Podravka the eighth, Kraš the ninth, and Siemens the tenth.

In the research, respondents were asked to identify up to three key factors that, in their opinion, an ideal employer should possess.

Fifty percent of them highlighted opportunities for professional advancement as the most important criterion. Quality interpersonal relationships (41 percent) ranked second, while job security took third place with 37 percent of the votes. Among other important factors, respondents particularly emphasized a fair relationship between superiors and employees, a good company image, and a balance between work and private life.

Almost half of the respondents, 47 percent, who indicated a company from the manufacturing industry as their employer of choice, often think about changing jobs, which aligns with the results of the overall sample (46 percent). Forty-one percent stated that they occasionally consider this option, while 12 percent do not think about changing employers at all.

The research also showed that those who already work for their ideal employer in the manufacturing sector are less likely to consider leaving. Thirty-six percent of the surveyed do not consider changing jobs, while 11 percent often think about that option.

Respondents who chose companies from the manufacturing industry as their employer of choice place the highest value on bonuses for outstanding achievements, flexible working hours, travel expense reimbursements, opportunities for professional development, and paid health services that exceed the basic package.

On the other hand, benefits such as subsidizing cultural and sports activities and financing relaxation facilities like wellness were rated as the least important.
