The average monthly net salary paid per employee in legal entities in the City of Zagreb for February this year amounted to 1627 euros, representing a nominal increase of four percent compared to January and an increase of 13.1 percent compared to February last year.
The median net salary for February was 1332 euros, meaning that half of the employed residents of Zagreb earned less, while the other half earned more than this amount.
According to data from the City Office for Economy, Environmental Sustainability, and Strategic Planning, the highest average monthly net salary in legal entities for February was paid in the production of basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations, amounting to 4039 euros.
The lowest salary was paid in other personal service activities, amounting to 943 euros.
Compared to the average monthly salary for February at the national level in Croatia, which was 1416 euros, the average net salary in Zagreb paid for that month was higher by 211 euros.
The average monthly gross salary per employee in legal entities in the City of Zagreb for February 2025 amounted to 2327 euros, representing an increase of 4.6 percent compared to January and an increase of 14 percent compared to February 2024.
