Jelena Fiškuš, co-founder and creative director of Studio Sonda, as well as president of the Management Board of HURA and IAB Croatia, has been invited again to be a jury member at the prestigious Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2025, specifically in the Industry Craft category. This marks the second time Fiškuš will participate in evaluating works at this most important global creativity festival, further confirming her status as one of the most influential creatives in the market communications industry in Croatia and the region.

Fiškuš became the first person from Croatia to participate in the Cannes Lions jury in 2022, which was a historic moment for the Croatian creative industry. Her reappointment to the jury confirms the ongoing success and recognition of Croatian creativity on the global stage.

– The renewed invitation to judge at the Cannes Lions festival surprised and, of course, delighted me. Since our first judging in 2022, representatives from Croatia have been continuously invited to the jury, which I consider a confirmation of the development of our profession and progress in positioning within global frameworks. It is also important to highlight that the number of lions arriving in Croatia increases year by year. This is truly significant as it pertains to the largest creativity festival in the world, where a place in the jury is earned, and of the vast number of submitted works, only 3% win awards. During the extensive judging process, I will again have the opportunity to gain insight into the best global works, as well as expert opinions, which I consider invaluable for personal development, and I will strive to transfer all knowledge to the domestic market – she stated.

Let us remind you, the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, the most prestigious global event in the field of market communications, will return in 2025, from June 16 to 20 in Cannes, France. This 72nd edition of the festival brings numerous innovations, including significant investments in equality, representation, and accessibility programs (ERA Pass), aimed at including a broader spectrum of talents from various communities. New categories and subcategories have also been introduced to follow the development of the global creative economy.

Joining Jelena Fiškuš in evaluating works in the Industry Craft category will be Matthias Spaetgens, Alvaro Becker, Ben Golik, Gabrielle Shirdan, Joaquin Molla, Jody Xiong, Julia Hoffman, Lara Assouad, Mariko Fukuoka, and Nene Parsotam.

You can find the list of all jury members and the categories in which competitors have submitted their entries here, and all information about the festival is available on the festival’s website.
