The Tax Administration notes that from May 8 at 4 PM until May 12 at 8 AM, electronic services and services of the Tax Administration via the eTax and mTax systems will not be available.
These include services within the eCitizens system; insight into the status of the tax accounting card and the creation of a barcode for electronic payment of tax liabilities; submission of requests for rebooking and refund of overpaid amounts on the tax accounting card and all other requests; issuance of certificates; submission of requests for the issuance of a tax card; registration of business premises for fiscalization; submission of the specification form for unrelated payments; submission of the corporate income tax form; the value-added tax form, and submission of the JOPPD form and all other forms.
As this is an extraordinary circumstance of system unavailability, taxpayers who pay salaries and pensions during the specified period will submit the JOPPD form upon system availability. Thus, submitted JOPPD forms will be considered submitted within the legal deadline.
The system for fiscalizing invoices and assigning OIBs and retrieving data from the OIB Registry will operate without interruption.
The Tax Administration asks citizens and entrepreneurs for their understanding.
The Tax Administration is implementing a digital transformation project. The goal is to build a new information system that can meet the demands of modern digital business and make electronic services and services more accessible to citizens, entrepreneurs, and other state administration bodies.
This project represents the modernization of the complex information system of the Tax Administration, which has been built over the years on an infrastructural platform that, due to its technological limitations, cannot meet the demands of modern digital business, they say in the Tax Administration.
