A1 Adria League, with the onset of spring, introduces a new addition to the esports saga – A1 Adria League Weekly. The longest-running regional esports league is now enriched with a dynamic competition cycle that will last for ten weeks. With the introduction of the new format, a series of mini-tournaments will commence, running from April 11 to June 15. Through these tournaments, players will have the opportunity to gain experience, win valuable prizes, and prepare for the autumn qualifiers of the milestone 15th season of the A1 Adria League. This format is based on previous experiences and successes, taking into account feedback from players and the community, while simultaneously placing a greater emphasis on the LAN finals later in the year. Weekly tournaments will continue to serve as preparation for the ‘big’ season, but under a new name and with a slightly adjusted format.
Competitors will be able to measure their strategies and skills in seven titles: Counter-Strike 2, League of Legends, PUBG, Brawl Stars, EAFC 25, eFootball, and EAFC Mobile. All tournaments are played in a knockout format, while each individual tournament and title has its own scoring and match system. Registrations are free for all players in the Adria region.
Alongside the Weekly tournaments, the fifth edition of A1 Student eChallenge begins, a competition that provides students with the opportunity to explore the technological and organizational aspects of the esports industry. Last year’s fourth edition gathered as many as 105 students from 15 faculties.
