Robert Prosinečki’s Company in Pre-Bankruptcy, Creditors Demand 360 Thousand

The Commercial Court in Zagreb has opened pre-bankruptcy proceedings against Steviq life d.o.o, the company of the celebrated footballer Robert Prosinečki, and has scheduled a hearing for July 1 to examine the claims of creditors amounting to approximately 360,000 euros.

By court order, Loris Rak has been appointed as the pre-bankruptcy trustee, and Prosinečki has been invited to submit a written statement to the Financial Agency (Fina) by the end of April regarding each claimed debt, indicating whether he acknowledges or disputes it.

According to the published table of claims, about 15 creditors are demanding the most, with Privredna banka Zagreb claiming around 118,000 euros, while Robert Prosinečki is also claiming about 104,000 euros from his company, but he does not have an enforcement document for this claim.

The company Steviq life was established in December 2018 with a share capital of 2,654 euros (20,000 kuna) and is headquartered in Zagreb’s Nova Ves. Robert Prosinečki is listed as the sole founder and director.

Steviq life is known as a company for the production of cocoa, chocolate, and confectionery products. It advertises itself, as mentioned in the media, as the first chocolate factory in Europe that sweetens hot chocolate exclusively with a natural sweetener – stevia.

Robert Prosinečki’s company made headlines earlier this year when they were reportedly forced to enforce the company Orbico, owned by Branko Roglić, who is publicly presented as one of the richest Croats due to debt.
