Privredna banka Zagreb has acquired the Employer Partner certificate

Privredna banka Zagreb (PBZ) has once again acquired the prestigious Employer Partner certificate, which SELECTIO Group, the leading HR consulting group in the region, has been awarding to companies with high-quality HR systems for 19 years. Through the Employer Partner project, 20,000 evaluations of HR systems have been conducted, which is why SELECTIO consultants today have in-depth insights into all types of organizations. Each year, around a hundred organizations apply for the certificate, continuously transforming over 100 HR systems across 10 markets.

Recognition of the value of feedback

PBZ recognizes that employee feedback, from the perspective of their role in the organization, often provides invaluable insight into organizational culture and the current needs of the company. The company values employee suggestions and implements new HR practices and improvements with the satisfaction of everyone in the organization in mind. Employees have the opportunity to recommend candidates for open positions, provide feedback on the onboarding process, and participate in continuous information and suggestion exchange through surveys, focus groups, and various communication channels.

– PBZ successfully implements various tools and processes to encourage two-way communication and provides employees with structured and documented feedback on their work. Through the newly introduced platform Veema, PBZ has further simplified the process for employees to submit business improvement proposals. This allows their opinions to be considered in projects outside their usual job descriptions. This systematic approach to involving employees and valuing their suggestions is a key part of developing quality HR practices, which is why we are extremely pleased to award PBZ the Employer Partner certificate again this year – said Lara Šubić Šuša, project manager of the Employer Partner project from SELECTIO Group.

The company runs the Inclusion Manager recognition program, under which employees nominate managers who excel in competencies for promoting and ensuring inclusive behavior, which involves creating a work environment that respects diversity, encourages collaboration, and ensures equal opportunities for all. This program provides managers with valuable support for further quality work, and they receive useful and encouraging feedback. In three years since the program’s launch, over 600 employees have participated, with more than 400 nominated managers.

Thanks to continuous efforts to improve organizational culture and ensure equal opportunities, PBZ is again part of the group of employers to whom SELECTIO Group has awarded the Equal Pay Champion certificate this year. This certificate confirms the company’s commitment to reducing pay disparities based on gender and other irrelevant factors. PBZ has demonstrated significant progress compared to last year in preparing for the implementation of European Union directives and building fairer pay systems.
