The versatile Ivana Nikolić is a painter, entrepreneur, and co-founder of one of the most successful urban festivals – Q’art. During the festival days, Nikolić and her team bring Zagreb’s Ilica to life by merging culture, community, and socially responsible themes. In addition to this project, Nikolić’s resume includes a series of collaborations with organizations such as the Croatian Chamber of Economy (HGK), other cultural successes like the Creative Cities project, and she recently launched a brand that combines art and psychology – ARThetip. In a conversation with journalist and host Sandra Babić, she discussed the importance of investing in the creative sector, which is the second largest contributor to the domestic GDP, as well as the creation of the city’s identity, as cities that understand their values and strengths and are community-oriented retain young, educated residents.
