Span Group in 2024 with a net profit of 3.4 million euros, an increase of 173 percent

Span Group achieved a net profit of 3.4 million euros, representing an increase of 173 percent compared to 2023, the company reported on Friday.

EBITDA before one-time items amounts to 10 million euros, which is a 40 percent increase compared to last year. EBITDA after one-time items in the same period rose by 63 percent, amounting to 9.2 million euros.

Total revenues of Span Group amount to 182 million euros, which is a growth of 26 percent compared to 2023. Business revenues also increased by 26 percent, amounting to 180.2 million euros.

Span Group generated 74 percent of its revenues in foreign markets.

The largest revenue growth, at 31 percent, was achieved in software development and business solutions, while the software asset management and licensing segment recorded a revenue growth of 30 percent compared to 2023.

– After very good results achieved in the first three quarters, we finished the year with an excellent fourth quarter and strong growth in all key business indicators – said Span’s CEO Nikola Dujmović.

The results from 2024, he stated, provide a strong foundation for further business growth this year.

– Our focus remains on the areas of cloud, cyber security, and AI, the fastest-growing segments of the IT industry – emphasized Dujmović.

Among business events, the statement notes that Span Group established Span B.V. based in the Netherlands in the last quarter of 2024, aimed at strengthening commercial and strategic ties with key partners, primarily Microsoft and Google.

In November, the Span Cyber Security Arena was held – a conference that gathered domestic and international speakers and more than 500 attendees. The second edition of the conference is also announced to take place in May this year in Opatija.

Span is one of the leading Croatian IT companies. In recent years, it has achieved continuous revenue growth. Present in the market for over three decades, Span currently employs 857 professionals and is one of the largest IT exporters, generating more than two-thirds of its revenue in foreign markets.
