Czech Auctor Holding has acquired Meeting Point Hotelmanagement Croatia, which was previously part of the FTI group that went bankrupt during the summer of last year. This is the latest investment by Auctor Holding in tourism, and they do not intend to stop here, as co-owner and attorney Oleg Uskoković states that they are closely monitoring opportunities for acquisitions and growth.
Auctor Holding’s portfolio includes Aminess Hotels & Resorts, through which it invests in tourism.
– The company MPC Hotelmanagement managed two hotel properties on the Croatian coast, specifically on the islands of Brač and Hvar. We recognized the opportunity and decided to acquire that company. Aminess Hotels & Resorts owns most of its properties, but its strategy also includes a segment for managing hotel capacities, which is referred to as an asset-light business model. In the last two years, Aminess has further expanded its portfolio. One of the key investments was the development of the luxury camp Avalon on the island of Pag. This is a greenfield project worth 55 million euros, categorized with five stars, and it already won the prestigious ‘Camp of the Year’ award at the Days of Croatian Tourism in 2024. Additionally, through Aminess Hospitality Group, specialized in hotel management, we have signed three management contracts for properties in Crikvenica and Novi Vinodolski, says Uskoković.
Let us recall that prior to this, HTP Korčula and HTP Orebić, as well as Hotels Njivice and a camp resort on the island of Krk, entered Aminess’s portfolio, and at the end of 2021, the acquisition of a hotel in Makarska was successfully completed, into which 52 million euros were invested for renovation. This is the first five-star hotel in Makarska, now under the name Aminess Khalani Beach Hotel.
