Raiffeisen Bank Croatia Again Holds the Prestigious Employer Partner Certificate

RBA Croatia has once again obtained the Employer Partner certificate, awarded for 19 years by SELECTIO Group, the leading Croatian group specialized in human resources consulting and recruitment. The certificate is granted to organizations that continuously meet high standards in human resource management and invest in the development and well-being of their employees. Companies that renew their Employer Partner status each year demonstrate a commitment to enhancing organizational culture, professional development of employees, and their job satisfaction.

– The life of large systems is such that we often take for granted what we are good at, yet things need to be continuously re-evaluated and changed. Selectio is an important partner and guide on this path of re-evaluation towards the implementation of even better practices. Therefore, I view the process of obtaining this important certificate as a “systematic review” of HR processes. I recommend everyone to pause once a year, look in the mirror, and ask themselves how they are doing, what they are good at, but also where their pain points are. For us, a pain point is any area where our employees’ experience is not at a top level. And such areas are becoming fewer, which is proof that as a team we are doing a very good job – said Ivan Tolić, Director of Human and Organizational Potential Management and Sustainability at RBA.

Continuous Care for Employees

RBA systematically collects employee feedback and based on the results implements concrete initiatives to improve organizational climate and culture. The collected data enables the company to better understand employee needs and create tailored solutions to enhance their workplace experience. Special emphasis is also placed on onboarding new employees, along with continuous feedback collection for its improvement. The Yello Hello application enables a modernized and quality onboarding process, including mentoring support, clear probation period goals, and educational materials.

The company continuously improves numerous initiatives arising from the collected feedback. Thus, as part of regular online meetings with the CEO, employees receive quarterly information about the Bank’s strategic initiatives and achieved results, and have the opportunity to ask questions directly, thereby establishing open dialogue and strengthening mutual trust. Additionally, through the ‘RBAality’ initiative, a multidisciplinary team of employees continuously works on projects that create and promote new ways and models of work, opening up opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and better adaptation of business to market changes.

Focus on Employee Well-being

RBA continuously develops well-being programs that provide employees with the necessary knowledge and support in maintaining health and work-life balance. RBA is also the holder of the Future Resilience certificate from SELECTIO Group, which accelerates the introduction of desirable HR practices with an emphasis on employee well-being. In the past year alone, 2,475 employees participated in the Future Resilience program, gaining tools through education and coaching to better cope with stress and unpredictable situations.

Additionally, the company implements the ‘BeeWell’ program, which includes a wide range of initiatives, from workshops with nutritionists, education on mental health, parenting, and generational differences, to free online training and psychological support. Employee response to education and workshops is exceptionally high, and thanks to two-way communication, the program content is continuously adapted to the real needs of employees. Employees also have access to more than 25 different monetary and non-monetary benefits, further confirming the company’s commitment to creating an encouraging and supportive work environment.
