The brand Sancta Domenica is now becoming Big Bang, reported the group of the same name operating in the region, stating that by 2028 they aim to increase revenues in Croatia from the current 165 million to a quarter of a billion euros.
After more than two years of strategic partnership between Sancta Domenica and Big Bang under the same ownership structure, the entire group will now continue to operate under a unified name in the retail electronics sector in Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, further strengthening the presence of this powerful brand in the region, the statement said. The name change from Sancta Domenica to Big Bang comes with significant investments in new modern and advanced infrastructure, while the legal entity in Croatia remains Sancta Domenica d.o.o, the company stated.
– Big Bang Group has been present in the Croatian market since 2022, and in that relatively short time, Croatia has become the largest market in the entire group – said Big Bang’s CEO Uroš Mesojedec.
During this time, they increased revenues by more than a third, to a record 165 million euros, opened a new logistics center, and significantly expanded their sales channels, he added.
– In just three years, we have increased the number of employees in Croatia by an impressive 40 percent. But we are not done yet, as we aim to achieve a quarter of a billion euros in revenue in Croatia by 2028, and over 600 million euros at the Big Bang Group level – said Mesojedec.
The company reminded that at the beginning of this year, the central warehouse moved to a new, modern, and significantly larger logistics center in Sveti Nedelja. With over 10,000 square meters of high-rack space, the new logistics center provides significantly larger storage capacities needed for further growth and development, along with faster and more efficient delivery of goods, and a new and better customer experience for tracking order status.
