Solana’s blockchain has marked an entire year without interruption, and prominent asset manager VanEck expects a profitable year, predicting a record 520 dollars for Solana by the end of 2025.
VanEck thus predicts that Solana will rise to that level by the end of 2025, as a result of capturing a larger share of the smart contract blockchain market, along with an increase in market share in volume on decentralized exchanges (DEX) and active users.
In a post on X, VanEck, which manages spot bitcoin and ethereum ETFs, stated that the forecast is related to the expansion of the U.S. M2 money supply. The company believes that Solana’s growing success among developers and users will help drive a significant price increase in the future.
– “We estimate that Solana’s market capitalization will reach ~250 billion dollars, which implies a price of 520 dollars,” announced VanEck, marking analysts Matthew Sigel and Patrick Bush.
Solana has risen by 105 percent compared to last year at the current price of 197 dollars according to CoinGecko, and on January 19, it reached a peak price of 293 dollars.
VanEck’s optimistic forecast comes at a time when Solana developers are marking the longest period in blockchain history without a loss of consensus, according to the Solana Status downtime tracking tool.
