The Largest Veterinary Group in Croatia Expands Its Business to the Region

The largest veterinary group in Croatia, Vetti Group, is strongly continuing its business expansion, and thanks to the latest acquisition of Vet Planet Clinic in Belgrade, the services of the largest veterinary group are now available in the region. In addition to the acquisition of the clinic in Serbia, Vetti Group has also acquired four new members in the domestic market this autumn: Holypet Veterinary Clinic in Zagreb, Gospić Veterinary Clinic, Zaprešić Veterinary Station, and Dogtor Specialist Veterinary Practice in Samobor.

With this expansion, Vetti Group now has 18 members, over 300 employees, and 30 locations in Croatia and the region.

In addition to acquisitions, Vetti continues to invest in its existing members, with Feliks Veterinary Practice in Virovitica relocating to a new location of over 300 square meters, four times larger than before. The new space will be fully equipped with modern technology and will include two surgical rooms, a separate room for dentistry, and a room for hospitalization and intensive care. Additionally, construction will soon begin on a new veterinary hospital in Split as part of the business center in the Dračevac settlement. The new hospital will cover 750 m2 and will contain four operating rooms, eight examination rooms, a separate waiting area for cats, and a separate room for comfort during the most difficult moments of saying goodbye to pets.

– We are proud that Vetti Group, through its latest acquisitions and expansion into the region, is providing a consistent, high-quality, and fast service to an even greater number of pet owners and their pets. The expansion of the group and the new partners with whom we successfully collaborate will help us deliver this service to as many clients as possible. The acquisitions are accompanied by continuous professional education where we share the rich knowledge of our experts with all members, as well as investment in top-notch equipment and raising the standards of the veterinary profession – stated Suzana Skorija, CEO of Vetti Group.

Investment in empowering employees and raising the quality of services through professional education and innovations in pet healthcare are the foundations of Vetti Group’s business, which brings together top veterinarians. Recently, the group welcomed a doctor from the acquired Dogtor Specialist Veterinary Practice – Tomislav Planinić, univ. mag. med vet., an experienced specialist with many years of experience in orthopedics, and Ana Petak, dr.med.vet. ECVD, a European specialist with the highest level of education in veterinary dermatology, has returned. In the past year, new young doctors who graduated with top grades have also joined the group, some of whom are recipients of rector’s and dean’s awards.

Investment in Employees

Vetti continuously invests in the education of its employees through the Vetti Academy, where training and workshops are organized with the participation of domestic and foreign experts. Special attention is paid to the development of new employees through onboarding programs that allow them to familiarize themselves with internal processes, future plans, and colleagues from different departments, thereby fostering collaboration and team spirit.

During the past year, the Vetti Scholarship Program was also launched, and in the academic year 2024/2025, scholarships were awarded to students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Zagreb. The goal of the program is to support students through financial assistance and mentorship, with an emphasis on developing professionals in the veterinary sector.

Vetti Group is majority-owned by a fund established by Provectus Capital Partners, an investment company that won the Bestinvest.hr award for Private Equity Investor of the Year in 2023.
