Triangle NEET Academy: Artificial Intelligence in Frontend Development

Triangle Šibenik proudly announces the fifth NEET Academy, which this year will focus on the theme ‘Artificial Intelligence in Frontend Development’.

This training is intended for young unemployed individuals who are not in the education system and who meet certain criteria. The goal is to enable them to acquire new knowledge and skills necessary for employment in the information technology sector, particularly in the position of Frontend developer – one of the most sought-after professions in the labor market.

The training is free for participants who meet the prerequisites according to the active employment policy measures of the Croatian Employment Service and participate in the program with at least 80 percent attendance.

What does the profession of Frontend developer entail? A Frontend developer is involved in the development of user interfaces for web and mobile applications. The job requires analytical and logical skills, good communication skills, and a willingness to work in a team. Key responsibilities include:

• development and maintenance of applications,
• working on product functionality,
• understanding and shaping user requirements,
• implementation of business applications and upgrades.

The advantages of this profession include a dynamic work environment, great employment opportunities, and above-average earnings in the IT sector.

Why AI?

As projects become increasingly complex, manual coding can become tedious and time-consuming. This has sparked interest in using artificial intelligence to automate some repetitive tasks.

AI has the potential to change the way we approach frontend development. By using algorithms and artificial intelligence technologies, frontend developers can enhance user experience and create more personalized and accessible experiences in a much shorter time.

The training lasts four months and consists of theoretical and practical parts, with an emphasis on working on concrete projects. The practical part will be conducted with partners and potential employers, and participants will gain experience in development, testing, production deployment, and application maintenance. The academy is held at the Triangle Center in Šibenik, while the practice takes place with business partners.

Upon completion of the training, participants will have basic knowledge to work as Frontend developers and will be able to apply for jobs in the IT sector or start their own business.

Application Requirements

To participate, it is necessary to have completed high school, a higher school, or a college.

Desirable skills include analytical abilities, communication skills, and knowledge and active use of Office tools. The IT department of Triangle will conduct the assessment of the knowledge and abilities of the applicants.

Candidates who successfully pass the testing will enroll in the NEET Academy and sign a contract committing to pay the costs of training in case of withdrawal.

Who cannot apply?

• individuals who possess a qualification in the sought profession but have no work experience
• have qualifications sought in the labor market but wish to train for a new profession
• have completed an education program through a voucher funded by the Croatian Employment Service
