Five years ago, ahead of his 65th birthday, the founder of C.I.O.S. Petar Pripuz stepped down from the position of CEO of the company and handed it over to his daughter Iva Pripuz Špekuljuk, while he took on a leading role in the Supervisory Board. A few weeks ago, the next phase of the rotation was completed: Pripuz has definitively retired, his daughter left the Management Board and took over the position of Chair of the Supervisory Board, and the operational management of the company was entrusted to the German manager Raphael Barth.
Barth joined C.I.O.S. a few months ago. His acquaintance with Pripuz dates back nearly two decades when Barth joined the Management Board of the German group Sholz, one of the largest global groups in the metal waste recycling industry, with which C.I.O.S. has been collaborating for about thirty years. Barth left the Sholz group in 2014, after which he worked in several companies in Germany and the United Kingdom.
