The retail chain Pevex today reported that it has purchased the properties of the French Bricostore, thus starting 2025 with further investment activities. Pevex stated that it has recently completed the transaction for the purchase of Bricostore properties in Sesvete and Kaštel Sućurac along with the associated infrastructure, thereby increasing the number of sales centers in its ownership.
Pevex’s CEO Krešimir Bubalo stated that they are pleased to have successfully concluded negotiations and the purchase of significant and valuable properties for them. These are properties where their sales centers are located in Sesvete and Kaštel Sućurac, stores that customers are already accustomed to.
– Today, more than half of our revenue is generated in our own space. Our developmental expansion this year continues. In line with plans and expectations, we will base the development cycle on organic growth, but also on further availability to customers – emphasized Bubalo.
Pevex has 31 sales centers with plans for further expansion. The company’s strategy is to have 40 sales locations in Croatia and then make a breakthrough into foreign markets. The French Bricostore has exited Croatia by closing its retail operations, i.e., sales centers.
