To further support them, we at Lider have decided to once again present thirty entrepreneurs under the age of thirty who deserve your attention after four years. This list highlights brave innovators who take risks, reshape the industries in which they operate with their ideas, and inspire others by their example.
The list includes some entrepreneurs who have been successfully developing their business ventures for years, while others are included again because their results must not go unnoticed. We are convinced that each of them brings something new and valuable that will shape the future of Croatian entrepreneurship.
One of the 30 promising young entrepreneurs featured on Lider’s ’30 Under 30′ list is Maja Krištafor.
Maja is one of the young entrepreneurs shaping the future of the business world through inclusivity and equality. Her story began in activism, where she worked for ten years advocating, raising awareness, and supporting marginalized groups, as well as creating campaigns for the rights of women, LGBTIQ+ individuals, and people with disabilities.
While working with non-governmental organizations, she realized that campaigns bring change, but only to a certain extent. – I missed deeper work with people – emphasizes Maja. Thus, the Inkluziv Collective was born, a project that connects her activism with entrepreneurship.
– We all spend the majority of our day at work, so if we want to build a fairer society, that is where we need to start – she explains.
Creating Change through DEI Strategies
Through education and specialization, along with the imminent completion of her MBA program, Maja developed a business concept focused on DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) strategies, which are just beginning to gain significance in Croatia.
– In the West, these strategies are already standard, but here we are only witnessing their beginnings. I hope that in five years we will view DEI as a basic standard of business, not because it has to be, but because we as a society will mature and understand the value of inclusion – says Maja.
