Zagrebačka banka, a member of the UniCredit Group, has been awarded the prize for the best private banking in Croatia, awarded by the international financial magazines The Banker and PWM from the Financial Times group. The award was announced at the Global Private Banking Awards 2024.

Alongside Zagrebačka banka, which has won this award for the third consecutive year, UniCredit Bulbank from Bulgaria also received recognition for the best private banking, while the UniCredit Group received recognition for the best investment bank in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).

– We are honored to be recognized as the best private banking in Croatia again this year. The Private Banking team is fully dedicated to its clients, and we are proud to build strong, lasting relationships with them. In this time of strong digitalization, our bankers strive to find personalized solutions, stand out with professional service and expertise, and our clients can rely on us for solutions that meet their unique needs – said Helena Ćorić, director of Private Banking at Zagrebačka banka.

The prestigious award reflects key trends in the industry. The award is given by a jury composed of international judges, and a key factor in the evaluation was how banks deliver their private banking services to clients. Other criteria included key performance indicators in the areas of: portfolio management, asset allocation, due diligence, risk management, growth strategy, customer service, ethical factors, business models, staff retention levels, and innovation. The analysis included the evaluation of qualitative and quantitative information.
