Hrvatska elektroprivreda has announced a competition for the award of scholarships to regular high school students and competition for the award of scholarships to regular university students, under which it will offer a total of 202 scholarships for the school and academic year 2024/2025 – 63 for university students and 139 for high school students.
Students of master’s programs and third-year undergraduate students in technical sciences (fields of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, geodesy), as well as students in pre-final and final years of technical high schools, can apply for the competitions open until November 9, 2024. The scholarship for the first and second year of master’s studies amounts to 330 euros per month, while it is 270 euros for third-year undergraduate students. For regular students in pre-final years of high school, the monthly net scholarship amount is 150 euros, and 200 euros for final-year students.
In addition to financial support during studies, the contract provides scholarship holders with employment in the HEP group as interns on indefinite contracts after obtaining their diploma or completing their high school education, with the obligation to remain employed in the company that sponsored them – HEP Distribution System Operator, HEP Production, HEP District Heating, HEP Trade, HEP Electricity, or HEP d.d. The payment of the scholarship begins after signing the scholarship agreement and lasts until the completion of high school education or studies.
