Algebra Business School has been dedicated to creating competitive managers since 2003 when it launched the MBA program under the name IgBS Economic Institute in Zagreb in partnership with Kelley School of Business. In 2015, Algebra restructured and redefined its MBA program and its educational and business mission. Today, the e-Leadership MBA graduate program is fully integrated into Algebra University and has been operating under the new e-Leadership MBA program since May 2016. This program received a positive assessment and recommendation for accreditation from the Agency for Science and Higher Education (AZVO).
Since then, more than 300 students in nine generations have attended and successfully completed the international MBA program at IgBS and proudly joined the Alumni community of Algebra MBA Business School. The knowledge acquired during education at the business school implies a high level of expertise in managing modern companies and contributes to the competitiveness of candidates in the global business arena, as evidenced by the alumni of the MBA program who are now employees of successful companies such as Infobip, Intercapital, SPAN, Orbico, A1, NE Krško, Daikin, Nestlé, HT, and other leaders in the digital transformation of the Croatian economy.
The MBA program emphasizes the acquisition of practical and applicable knowledge, using concrete business examples as a foundation for learning. A key part of the teaching consists of open and reasoned discussions between program participants and lecturers, encouraging active participation from all participants. Interactivity is further enhanced by business simulations that allow participants to face real business situations. Additionally, individual and team assignments provide each student with the opportunity to showcase their skills and stand out in various challenges.
Personalized Educational Programs
The tailored education offered by Algebra MBA Business School consists of personalized educational programs specifically designed according to the needs of individual companies or organizations. To date, a large number of trainings have been conducted for companies from almost all sectors of the economy (A1 Croatia, Wiener Insurance, Fortenova, Rimac, Erste Bank, Ericsson Nikola Tesla, Podravka, and others). These trainings are becoming an increasingly popular choice for decision-makers as they allow the content and learning methods to be adapted to the real challenges and goals faced by a particular company. In practice, this means that with the help of experts, the program works on specific case studies of individual companies, which are specific and different for each sector of the economy.
