Bitcoin ETFs recorded a one-day inflow of 556 million dollars, the highest since June

U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs recorded their largest one-day inflow in over four months, exceeding half a billion dollars. Eleven ETFs recorded a total net inflow of 555.9 million dollars on October 14, marking their largest daily net inflow since early June, according to data from Farside Investors.

ETF Store President Nate Geraci called yesterday a ‘monster day’ for spot bitcoin ETFs, adding that they are now approaching 20 billion dollars in net inflows over the past ten months.

– It’s just ridiculous and exceeds any pre-launch demand estimates. This is not ‘degen retail’, but advisors and institutional investors are slowly continuing to adopt bitcoin – Geraci wrote on X.

Fidelity Wise Bitcoin Origin Fund (FBTC) led with an inflow of 239.3 million dollars, the largest inflow since June 4.

Bitwise Bitcoin ETF (BITB) had just over 100 million dollars, while BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) recorded an inflow of 79.6 million dollars.

Ark 21Shares Bitcoin ETF (ARKB) had an inflow of just under 70 million dollars, and Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) recorded its first inflow in October of 37.8 million dollars, the highest since early May.

In a post on X, Bloomberg’s senior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas compared bitcoin ETFs to gold-based products, noting that since the January launch of bitcoin ETFs, bitcoin has reached new highs five times.

Meanwhile, gold has reached record values 30 times this year, but gold ETFs have recorded only 1.4 billion dollars in net inflows compared to over 19 billion dollars for bitcoin ETFs, Balchunas said.

However, ethereum ETFs have not enjoyed the same momentum, with zero net flows for Bitwise, VanEck, Franklin, and Grayscale and smaller flows for Fidelity and Invesco.

BlackRock iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) had an inflow of 14.3 million dollars, bringing the total amount to 17 million dollars.
