The company Jabil, a global provider of design, manufacturing, and logistics solutions, has officially opened its modern facility in Osijek. The new facility will supply key industries, including automotive, transportation, and healthcare, and will introduce advanced technological capabilities and create high-quality jobs in the region, according to the statement.
At the ceremony, attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia Andrej Plenković, Minister of Economy Ante Šušnjar, County Prefect Mato Lukić, Osijek Mayor Ivan Radić, U.S. Ambassador to Croatia Nathalie Rayes, and numerous other prominent officials, the leaders of Jabil celebrated the official opening of the new facility.

The construction of the facility, which spans an area of 47,938 square meters, began in June 2023, involving over a thousand workers from 140 different companies. The facility boasts a production area of 22,296 square meters and is equipped with the latest surface mount technology and automated assembly equipment, as well as a solar power plant with a total capacity of 4.8 MW. The facility embodies Jabil’s commitment to sustainable, high-tech manufacturing.
– The new facility will benefit not only Osijek in the long term but also all of Croatia, as it represents one of the most significant foreign investments in the industrial sector. Osijek Mayor Ivan Radić simultaneously stated that the opening of the new facility is further proof that Osijek is ‘a center of innovation and technological development’.
