Long-time CEO of Croatian DM Mirko Mrakužić (58) ended up in investigative detention yesterday as the police suspect him of attacking a 36-year-old acquaintance with a baseball bat during the weekend, specifically on Saturday half an hour after midnight, reports Jutarnji list.
He intimidated him by waving a kitchen knife, beat him, threatened him with death, and damaged his car in the process.
– On Saturday, September 21, around 00:30, the injured 36-year-old arrived by car in Bosanska Street as previously agreed to meet with a 47-year-old acquaintance, when the 58-year-old approached the vehicle and damaged it with a blunt object, subsequently injuring the 36-year-old. The injured party received medical assistance at KBC Zagreb, where it was determined that he sustained minor bodily injuries during the described incident. Following the completed criminal investigation, police officers established that the 58-year-old committed the criminal offenses of damage to another’s property, attempted infliction of serious bodily injury, and threats, after which he was handed over to the detention supervisor within the legal timeframe along with a special report submitted to the Municipal Criminal State Attorney’s Office in Zagreb,’ responded the Zagreb Police Department to Jutarnji list.
