EIC Accelerator – How to Compete in the European League of Deep Tech Champions

If you have a deep tech startup and believe you have the potential to compete in the European Champions League, apply for the workshop EIC Accelerator – the path to the European Champions League for deep tech startups which will be held on September 4 at the Zagreb office of SEECEL (Regional Center for the Development of Entrepreneurial Competences for Southeast European Countries).

The association of independent software exporters CISEx is preparing a workshop that will help participants prepare their company and project for a successful application to the EIC Accelerator (Horizon Europe), the most competitive program in Europe aimed at financing innovative deep tech startups, which are micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises. Selected companies have the opportunity to receive grants of up to 2.5 million euros and up to 15 million euros through equity co-investing, aimed at ambitious projects with high growth potential.

The program supports deep tech startups from all industries, provided they do not violate the European Union’s agendas regarding climate, human rights, ethics, and other political and social goals.

Tips & Tricks

As stated in its announcement, the workshop is primarily designed for founders, CTOs, and CEOs, providing an opportunity to ask and learn all the necessary details, instructions, and advice on how to prepare a startup, what are the essential prerequisites for applying to the EIC Accelerator, and how to write a successful application.

Participants can also learn all about interesting statistics and news regarding the EIC Accelerator program from the National Contact Point (Marija Galeković, NCP, HAMAG BICRO); information about funding plans for projects that receive the Seal of Excellence at the EIC Accelerator from national competitions (Hrvoje Meštrić, MZOM); other opportunities for financing deep tech startup projects at the national level (Hrvoje Meštrić, MZOM; Tajana Barančić, Astra Business Engineering) and detailed instructions and ‘tips and tricks’ for applying to the EIC Accelerator from two domestic Croatian juries for the EIC Accelerator (Tajana Barančić, Mihovil Barančić; Jury Members; Astra Business Engineering).

Regarding the importance of the EIC Accelerator and the workshop, which has a limited number of participants (after registration, participants participate by invitation from the organizer), the owner of Astra Business Engineering and chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of CISEx, Tajana Barančić, spoke in Lider’s podcast.
