DZS: Consumption in June Increased for the 15th Consecutive Month Year-on-Year

The report on retail trade published by the Croatian Bureau of Statistics shows that in June, according to seasonally adjusted data, consumption increased by 5.5 percent year-on-year, while it decreased by 2.8 percent compared to the previous month.

Thus, retail consumption increased for the 15th consecutive month year-on-year, but at a slower pace than the previous month, when the growth was 8.4 percent.

At the same time, the turnover from retail trade in food, beverages, and tobacco products increased by 1.3 percent, while the turnover from retail trade in non-food products (excluding motor fuels and lubricants) increased by 7.9 percent.

In the first six months of this year, seasonally adjusted retail trade turnover increased by 8 percent compared to the same period last year.
