The net profit of the HT Group in the first half of the year amounted to 57.6 million euros, which is 6.4 percent higher than in the same period last year, according to data from HT’s semi-annual consolidated financial report.
Total revenues of HT in the first half of the year amounted to 533.9 million euros, representing a year-on-year increase of 7.3 percent. Expenses simultaneously increased by 78.2 percent, to 461.5 million euros.
In the second quarter of 2024, investments accelerated, amounting to 101.5 million euros at the end of the first half of 2024, which represents an increase of 8.9% compared to the previous year and confirms Hrvatski Telekom’s commitment to providing a platform for the digitalization of Croatia.
They highlight the growth of investments, which at the end of the first half of the year amounted to 101.5 million euros, nine percent higher than the previous year, as well as the continuation of the construction and expansion of the optical network, resulting in an increase in coverage for an additional 25 percent of new households and businesses compared to the same period last year.
– In the first half of 2024, Hrvatski Telekom once again achieved good business results in the segments of private and business users, as well as respectable revenue and EBITDA AL growth. We have continued, and indeed accelerated, our investments, which are the largest in the market, increased optical coverage across Croatia by an additional 25 percent, and our mobile network has once again been recognized as the best. Although telecommunications services can sometimes be perceived as ‘commoditized’, what Hrvatski Telekom offers is a premium service that is above the market average.
