Fortenova Group Paid Off Debt of Nearly 86 Million Euros to Agrokor Suppliers

The Association of Agrokor Suppliers expressed satisfaction with the payment of nearly 86 million euros to Agrokor suppliers, including accrued interest. The Association also announced that it would take the necessary steps to settle the debt in the short term and has called a General Assembly for July 15, 2024.

– On behalf of the Association of Agrokor Suppliers, which has been appointed as the administrator for the payment of the Border Debt based on the Agreement reached in the Extraordinary Administration process over Agrokor d.d. and its dependent and related companies, we express satisfaction with the fact that we were informed on July 9, 2024, about the payment of the amount owed based on the Supplier Loan Record totaling 85,968,233 EUR, which includes the debt according to the record and the corresponding interest (border debt), to the Supplier Payment Agent. The Association of Agrokor Suppliers will undertake all necessary preparations for the payment of the border debt in the short term, all in accordance with the Agreement reached, for which the General Assembly of the Association has been called for July 15, 2024.

We believe that the payment of the border debt, along with the completed ownership restructuring of the Fortenova Group, represents an extraordinary advancement in the intention to stabilize the operations of all operational companies of the Group and create conditions for its sustainable development to the satisfaction of all involved: consumers, employees, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

The Association particularly welcomes the decision of Open Pass to participate, along with other investors, in the ownership restructuring that ensures the stability of long-term operations and the conclusion of the restructuring process during challenging times.
