After enabling banks in Croatia to successfully transition from kuna to euro, a new success has arrived for the Zagreb IT company Koios. For approximately 5 million euros, they have acquired the British company Yard, thus initiating further expansion into the large and dynamic market of Great Britain, following their success in Croatia and the region.
The British company Yard, based in Cardiff, specializes in analytics and provides insights on customers, profiling, and data aggregation up to the delivery of automated targeted content through marketing channels.
The key difference of Yard compared to its competitors is not only its ability to implement and maximize existing client technology but also to provide recommendations, training, and solutions throughout its entire service offering, in order to maximize the return on marketing investment.
On the other hand, the IT company Koios, with offices in Zagreb and London, provides application development services, data integration, business analysis, and project management, as well as implementing Atlassian solutions for corporate clients, predominantly in the financial sector. The speed and accuracy of information are crucial for decision-making, which is the main characteristic of Koios.
– Koios was founded 16 years ago and has developed into a leader in providing services in the financial industry. The merger with Yard will enable Koios to have a broader user base and large corporate clients in the United Kingdom and across Europe. Through specialization in the financial sector, Koios has built a reputation as a leading supplier in this area. We are pleased that Yard is now under the umbrella of Koios, and through the synergy of our expertise, we will provide even better and higher quality service to our current and future clients. With Yard, we continue our expansion and begin cooperation with companies including leading telecoms, an international bank, an energy company…, and their award-winning team will now make their knowledge and experience available to our clients – said Stjepan Pavlek Posavec, Director and CEO of Koios.
