According to unofficial information obtained by Hina from the Croatian Transmission System Operator, a collapse of the electricity grid occurred across three countries – it first started in Montenegro, then the power outage affected Bosnia and Herzegovina, and subsequently a part of Croatia – the entire Dalmatia, up to Rijeka, reportedly to the Brinje transformer station.
Hina learns that such a collapse of the electricity system across three countries has never happened before. We also find out that dispatchers are currently frantically communicating with each other, state to state, to determine what happened and to devise a recovery plan, as no state can isolate itself regarding electricity supply since all are connected by power lines.
The cause is still unknown; it is speculated that high temperatures have increased consumption and that the system collapsed at one point.
