Former Convict Creates DJT Token Themed on Donald Trump, ZachXBT Uncovers the Culprit Once Again

Former convict Martin Shkreli, who spent several years in prison for financial fraud, recently publicly announced his role in creating a new DJT token themed on Donald Trump. In a post on X, anonymous crypto detective ZachXBT highlighted that Shkreli, the notorious Pharma Bro, sent him a private message, stating that he possesses over a thousand pieces of evidence proving that he co-created the DJT token in collaboration with Barron, somewhat alluding to Barron Trump, the son of Donald Trump.

The series of events began after the crypto analytics firm Arkham Intelligence offered a substantial reward of $150,000 for anyone with information about the creator of DJT. ZachXBT responded to the post and was ready to reveal DJT’s identity.

According to a series of ZachXBT’s posts, Shkreli personally messaged him, asking not to be revealed. However, shortly thereafter, after pleading not to be exposed, Shkreli hosted an X space, where he stated that he is the creator of DJT.

This admission was as surprising as it was confusing, as just a few hours earlier, the former convict had denied any involvement with DJT.

The former convict initially claimed that DJT was officially linked to Donald Trump’s presidential campaigns, even going so far as to bet with crypto trader GCR regarding the authenticity of this token. However, the matter does not end there. Martin Shkreli is now facing multiple charges of insider trading. ZachXBT shared a screenshot in which Shkreli encourages someone to buy DJT tokens.

A blockchain researcher uncovered an insider named Versosol, who sold DJT tokens worth approximately $832,000, converted those proceeds into USDC, and transferred them to a centralized exchange. This same insider is also a significant investor in another project by Martin Shkreli called Shoggoth.ai.

Lookonchain recently posted on X that the insider generated massive profits from selling DJT. They withdrew 72 Solana from Binance and used 67.1 to purchase over 58.87 million DJT.

This insider later sold the tokens for more than 10,241 USDC and 7,387 Solana. Essentially, the insider made over a million dollars from an investment of just around $9,400. According to many in the crypto community, such gains of 110 times signal insider trading, with Shkreli as the main culprit.
