Croatian Gideon Launches Collaboration with Nvidia

To accelerate the automation of supply chains using artificial intelligence, the Croatian company Gideon, which produces autonomous mobile robots (AMR), announced today that it is entering into a collaboration with the American Nvidia, one of the world’s largest chip manufacturers. Gideon’s collaboration with Nvidia will help ‘address complex, unresolved challenges in automation and robotics in the supply chain, combining Gideon’s AI-powered AMR technology with Nvidia’s accelerated data processing,’ stated Josip Ćesić, recently CEO of Gideon, on this occasion.

The news of the collaboration with Nvidia comes just a few months after a strategic partnership with the Swedish company Toyota Material Handling Europe, which offers warehouse equipment for the industry such as forklifts. Given that this industry is experiencing significant growth in demand for automation and flexible robotic solutions, as part of this collaboration, Gideon’s autonomy software will be integrated into Toyota’s vehicles.

Gideon has also recently welcomed back Matija Kopić, co-founder and former director of the company, as an advisor after a long hiatus. As he stated for Lider on this occasion, he will assist Ćesić and the rest of the team in realizing their long-term business vision.
